   Take your medicine after you eat.

   The verb must take the past modifier -(으)ㄴ. There is no 먹는 후에.

   toe-geun-han hu-e jeon-hwa-deu-ril-ge-yo

   I'll call you after I get off work.

   Only touch it after you've washed your hands.

   -자마자 sits flush against the point; -(으)ㄴ 후에 allows a gap.

   다음에 and 뒤에 can replace 후에 with the same meaning.
