License

The basics

Every template on ShareDocs is made in-house, and unless stated otherwise it is free for both personal and commercial use. Licenses do vary by template, so please check the License field on each template page.

License types

  • Free · Commercial use allowed — use it for work or commercial purposes, no attribution needed. Most templates here are this one.
  • Free · Attribution required — credit the creator and the source when you use it. This covers the documents built on government standard forms.

Which of the two applies is stated on the template’s own page.

Fonts used in the files

Korean files are set in NanumGothic, an open-licence typeface: commercial use carries no separate font fee. Files in other languages name the typeface that suits the script — Calibri for English, Vietnamese and Indonesian, Noto Sans Devanagari for Nepali, Noto Sans Khmer for Khmer.

No font file is embedded in the document. The document only names a typeface; the letters are drawn with the fonts installed on your own computer. Passing the file around therefore does not pass a font licence with it.

Not permitted

Regardless of license, you may not redistribute or sell the template files themselves, or register an original work as your own. The document you produce by filling a template in — your proposal, your report — is of course yours to use freely.
