All of it in one picture

走る is one picture: one line drawn at speed. Lift your own feet off the ground and you run; forbid that act indoors and it is 'no running'; let wheels draw the line along the rails and the train runs; draw the same line every morning and you are out for a run; let the line pass inside the body and pain shoots through. So 走る carries both speed and a single streak.
