About this template

A deck to read, not to project

These 10 slides are laid out like a magazine: the cover carries editorial labels such as ISSUE 01, NO. 01 and COVER STORY, and each body page has a running head and footnotes. That makes it a good download-and-read PDF or an email attachment introducing a service. It works poorly on a large meeting-room screen, where footnotes and captions are unreadable from the back. To present it, delete the footnotes and enlarge the body text.

Sorting out the editorial elements

The cover has fields for publication year (2026), category (Proposals & Planning) and presenter, plus two blocks of template blurb. Internally, ISSUE 01 and NO. 01 mean nothing, so replace them with a document version and month or remove them; the category field is more useful as a product or plan name. The contents slide lists five items – service at a glance, key features, build it yourself versus subscribe, key figures, trend analysis – and prints a “5 items total” label, so correct that count whenever you add or cut an entry. Only two of the five come as a divider-plus-body pair (service at a glance and key features); the other three map onto slide 7, slide 8 and slide 9. To add items such as who it is for or pricing, duplicate the 3-4 pair, number the new PART 03, add the agenda line and fix the count label.

Filling the two body slides

  1. Rewrite the two cover blurb blocks as a one-sentence definition of the service and who it is for.
  2. Slide 4 ships with “4 manual tasks replaced”, “11 minutes from signup to first use”, “web and mobile app”. That is what it replaces, how fast you start, where you use it – change only the values. Someone will ask which four tasks, so keep the list in your notes.
  3. Slide 6 ships with automatic document classification and unified search, approval routing with notifications, and monthly usage export to Excel. Only list what the product does today; keep roadmap items out.
  4. Align the 01/02/03 numbering across the two slides so item 01 on the first is answered by item 01 on the second.
  5. Slide 7 splits into blocks A and B with three lines each: who staffs it, who carries operations and security, and how new features arrive. If you change the items, change them on both sides in the same order or the contrast collapses.

FIG captions and numbers

The metric tiles are numbered FIG. 01 to FIG. 04 and default to signup in 11 minutes, activation in 1 business day, minimum monthly fee KRW 90,000, and 24-hour incident intake – two speed figures, one price, one support commitment, which is a sound set for an introduction. Replace the note saying the figures are examples with a real source line, e.g. internal tally for the first half of 2026, paid accounts only, and footnote whether the price excludes VAT and any minimum term. The trend slide shows January 26, April 41, July 63, October 88, yet the caption to its left describes a quarterly index. Pick one, and replace “unit: index” with a real unit such as customers onboarded. The bars are shapes, so resize by (value / largest value).

Check before you send it

  • Sending it out with the sample-value notes intact; this file has two, on the metric slide and the trend slide.
  • Leaving the “5 items total” label out of sync with the actual contents – one extra line makes it wrong.
  • Pasting long paragraphs into the body slides in the name of editorial style; those areas are sized for three items.
  • Distributing it officially with COVER STORY and the closing NO. 99 still printed.
  • Keeping only the closing line about a seven-day trial without saying how to start one. There is no contact slide in this file, so put the contact details and signup path in the CLOSING area of slide 10.
