About this template
Screened as a file, with no one to narrate it
Built for accelerator and grant applications, where reviewers work through dozens of submissions and you never get to fill in the gaps out loud. The file is 14 slides: cover, agenda, four section dividers paired with four body slides, a comparison slide, a four-tile metrics slide, a trend chart, and a closing slide. The four body slides run in order: why this program, the founding team, problem validation, and MVP status. For investor due diligence it is too short, so keep it as the summary and add a financial appendix.
Seven agenda lines, all of them backed
The agenda holds seven lines numbered 01 / 07 through 07 / 07. The first four each have a divider and a body slide; the last three – the before/after comparison, key metrics, and the trend chart – are slides 11, 12 and 13. Nothing on the agenda is missing a slide, so the work runs the other way.
- If the call has more evaluation criteria, duplicate a divider-plus-body pair and fix both the agenda line and the denominator 07. Use this to add a use-of-funds or support-request slide, which reviewers read most closely.
- If a page limit forces you to cut, renumber as well. An agenda counter that disagrees with the deck makes the file hard to follow.
Turn every bullet into a measured value
Each body slide holds a one-line lead and three numbered items, and the sample copy is already numeric: slide 8 leads with “the facts confirmed in customer interviews” and ships with 63 customer interviews, 78% willing to pay, and 21 hours a month spent on manual processing. Keep that shape and swap in your own figures; drop adjectives and keep only measured values.
- “Large market” becomes, for example, a KRW 1.8T bookkeeping market with KRW 420B in the under-five-employee segment.
- “Customers are happy” becomes 68% retention six months after conversion and 2% monthly churn.
- “Strong team” becomes headcount and years, like slide 6’s three full-time co-founders and nine years of manufacturing design.
- “The product works” becomes counts and revenue, like slide 10’s 14 beta companies and four paying accounts at KRW 2.2M a month.
Make the two columns of slide 11 answer each other
Slide 11 sets today against graduation. The left column reads 5 people, 14 beta accounts, 4 paying accounts, KRW 2.2M monthly revenue and one sales channel; the right column reads 9 people, 30 paying customers, KRW 15M monthly revenue and four sales channels. The two columns line up item by item, so edit them as pairs. Unless the body slides show how you get from 4 paying accounts to 30, and from KRW 2.2M to KRW 15M, the right column reads as a wish.
Four tiles and the 12-week curve
The metrics slide holds 14 beta deployments, 63 interviews, KRW 2.2M monthly revenue, and a 12-week program length. The first three repeat values from slides 8, 10 and 11, so editing the body means editing the tiles too; a mismatch is the first thing a reviewer catches. The 12 weeks is set by the program, not by you, so match the actual call. The trend chart climbs from 12 at application to 19, 28 and 44 by week 12 and is captioned as an index. That curve is a target for the program period rather than a result, so rename the axis to a real metric such as paying customers and label it explicitly as a target.
The cover carries the category label, the title, and a blurb that begins “this template organizes 14 slides from why this program to the trend analysis”. Delete that line and replace it with a one-sentence definition of the business. Unlike the other templates this cover has no presenter line, so add the founder name, incorporation status and submission month in the same place, and follow the file-naming rule in the call.
Before you submit
- Leaving the template blurb on the cover; it reads as an untouched template.
- More than four lines on a slide; reviewers spend under three minutes per file.
- Inflating the right column of slide 11 without touching the left. Graduation targets are the first thing reviewers push on.
- Leaving checkable claims such as slide 6’s completed vesting agreement or slide 10’s three shipped core features unverified; diligence exposes them immediately.
- Slide 14 carries only “we will report back in 12 weeks” and a thank-you, with no contact details for a reply.
